The theme of the Expo “Growning Green Cities” was not only displayed in the exhibition and gardening aspects. Sustainability was paramount 
in this project, the temporary building is based on a sustainable wooden structure, containers for the functional areas, and all materials will be  dismantled and reused, reducing the impact on the environment. Within the project development we supported gtp2 to find local engineers suppliers in the Netherlands and to use their Dutch expertise. We managed, the Expo team, Arcadis the engineers contracted by the EXPO and our engineers to obtain the building permit in a short development period. We worked closely and managed the challenges we faced with foundation issues and difficult soil conditions. Together with the colleagues of gtp2 we coordinated the German and Dutch suppliers on site and managed to win the race against the time towards  a successful opening in April 2022. The EXPO will run until October 2022.
